Compliment an Officer

We've taken a little heat in the comments (unjustly as we will point out) about MTGP attacking the officers that work 2211. We refute that as we have time and again posted how the way 2211 is treated is not the officers fault. It is a failure of the bosses, politicians, reverends and will put some pressure on how the dispatchers dispatch cars. (although we are sure they have pressure from their higher ups when it comes to dispatching)

That being said, we are going to quash all of this negativity towards our officers that work our beat and give you this link that will truly show our appreciation for our officers.

Compliment an officer online. Please do this. Even if you are not a victim of a crime, compliment an officer on the arrests they made to help improve the neighborhood. The assistance at an accident scene. Their genuine good advice. They put up with a lot of hell and very often, they are not recognized for the hell they put up with.

However, we will continue to comment on the location of 2211 when they are pulled off of their beat to to all points east. Our community needs to stay informed of where their tax money is going and why it is going there.

It's a nice idea but I'm really not sure if I'd want IPRA to have my IP address.

I make an effort to thank p/o's to their face when I'm in a store, elevator, etc.

So why don't you remove your "ALERT" that is still posted on May 15 at 115th and Kedzie?
It is all not true and you know it.
I hope the owner sues you for putting that up, it sounds like it has caused him to lose business do to you putting it up. I agree with the Bev Review, as you are publishing items in the public view and they should be checked foe accuratcy first.
For being CPD you should research the law.

and tonight 2211r send to a auto accident with injuries at 87th and wallace... down on it for over an hour. again, not the officers fault but oemc and the bosses sending 11 out east for some b.s. 2212,2213 all down in the station on arrest from east.. there were no cars on a ten sector beat.. 2221 was on an arrest somewhere in the 30 sector.. so beverly and mt greenwood completly uncovered. ginger, if you dont step up and keep these cars on the beat you better start packing your boxes...

Oh be quiet. This blog is a courtesy and a convenience for the residents of Mount Greenwood and the surrounding area. The efforts by some idiots to politicize it are getting on my nerves. I'm sure Mark Mayer isn't hurting if he is a f/t cop and owns a car wash. God bless him and move on.

Spread the word to your neighbors about this blog. You see something, post it. You call, cops come and don't investigate thoroughly, post it. No cops in the area, post it.

Someone should have done this a long time ago.

shut up stroke... I know mark personally and we have talked about it and even I have told him that some really shady people use that place... Ive personally had to deal with people on the property coming over begging for money and harassing me while in the car wash stall. it is a great business and they are great owners. what does suck is all the trash moving into the neighborhood now harassing regular people... 115th and kedzie is starting to look like Beverly with all the ghetto thugs walking around... its not the car washes fault but local and city government allowing so much section 8 properties.

Sometimes where there is smoke there is fire. Maybe ONE customer had a problem there and reported it. Just because it is not a regular problem doesn't mean it didn't happen. This blog is a benefit to the neighborhood. If you don't like it, don't visit it!

I've read those comments and it hasn't affected the my use of that car wash. I still use it about ince a week ad I have been for the past several years. I will continue using it weekly also. It is one of the best car washes around.

I love this car was I use it all the time. If I was to see anyone bothering people at the place I would call the cops! That is what needs to be done.
I personally want to thank the people that run this Blog. I check it everyday. I like the info.
