Just read in the comments that 2211 refused to leave their beat to take a job. Is this true? If so, nice work. Way to stand up against the system that has left us high and dry for protection. If we had ribbons to hand out for having the balls to tell the dispatchers no, we'd be handing them out righ now. We also have to give credit to the sgt. that decided not to force 2211 off the beat to handle the job. Or the field lt. who might have been listening as well. We may attack the higher ups from time to time, but if they do what is right then we will also praise them.
If all of this is true....GREAT WORK!!!!

While what happened here is wonderful, it's a direct result of pressure being put on the department through community activism and this blog. We pay taxes, we shouldn't have to demand or beg for services. Most resources are being funneled into the ghetto where residents hate the police, set them up, have press conferences to complain about them, and sue the City. Fuck them all. It's time to turn things right again. Let them all kill each other. They made their neighborhood what it is because that's what they want and allow.
Be vocal. Demand what you pay for so your neighborhood will remain your neighborhood.
An idea for the rental property on st louis hit the property owners in the pocket. For example when they have to keep paying for the replacement of electric wires gas pipes windows ect. they might start to get the hint. I am not suggesting breaaking the law we all know savages will destroy anything they cant fuck or eat we just need to point out the damages to the home owners on a constant basis.

What I would like to know is why a property owner would rent to people who smoke dope in their driveway in full view of everyone on the block? Maybe they need to be made aware of this situation. Or perhaps, Alderwoman Rugai should provide a list of homeowners who "rent" their property out to garbage. Maybe if they had to be accountable to the neighbors who actually live on that block and have to deal with the mess they have allowed to invade this space, they would make more of an effort in deciding who they rent to.
You can't tell me that someone's adult children, someone who grew up in the neighborhood or someone new to CFD or CPD wouldn't like to know where available homes are to rent.
C'mon. There must be a better way.
U cannot tell a dispatcher u won't take a job. A sgt has to come over the air and say something the dispatchers can give any beat car a job where they want. Not enough cars on the east so they have the authority to take the cars from the west. Like we tell u call call call or ur beat car will be dispatched to the east.
We need a mass protest of our officers being assigned to leave our neighborhood. If there is a way, we should be picketing on 111th Street, around the Park. This b.s. has gone on far enough. We have just as many rights as the political whores do, time to stand up and not take no for an answer. Remember what happend at Durkin Park ???
be aware...early morning garage burglaries(0400-0500)....M/W/25-30 possibly driving a smaller older model car checking garage doors, finding one that's open and going in....almost took a bike but an alert neighbor saw him in the 10900 blk alley between Drake and Central Park and called police. Now is the time when people are outside with friends and leave things unlocked till the next morning.
if true thats awesome... great work boys and girls. I like where this is going..
2211R was making street stops over on 100th and carpenter tonight. What a joke. You kids wanna play police then bid to 6 or 3.
