Garage burglaries are probably are most common offense and something that we need to be conscious of. Just received a comment regarding a particular and an potential offender.
10900 blk between Drake and Central Park. Male, white, 25-30 years attempted to take a bike from a garage. Offender driving a small, older model car. Was scared away by an alert neighbor. Good job!!!
Any plate, make, model or color information?

Retired copper: The other day I seen a older Buick Century 4dr, white, 95-98 Buick with two male whites 25-30yrs old stop across the street from my house. My garage faces Lawndale and the door was open. They sat in car and were looking around but when I walked out they pulled away. In area of 107th Lawndale...Could'nt catch plate number....Hey, maybe a possibility.
Civilian here. Just wondering if you could decode the terms that I see on the SCC blog used to describe offenders. Like M2, etc. What do they mean and why do they use codes instead of just saying male, white, etc?

m is for male. race codes 1 for black, 2 for white, 3 black hispanic, 4 white hispasnic. so m1 means male black

Isn't it just pathetic that they have no job and nothing better to do than make other people miserable by stealing and damaging property that other people worked for?
Wouldn't you love to just punch them in the face?
Yesterday 3 M1's walking thru neighborhood. Called 911 they got them and they got rid of them
