We have known for a long time that 2211 has the crime, you just have to spend the manpower and time over here searching. We think everyone in the community has known it and no one was speaking up about it except to each other. Now we have this blog and guess what, we are growing in numbers of readers and contributors. And we are starting to become aware at just how bad we let this neighborhood get.
Has it turned into the ghetto? No. Just don't want it to turn into the ghetto.
Again, and we are proud to do this, Kudos to 2211 afternoons. Please say there are 2 other watches out there working the beat. We don't care if you get arrests on the other two watches, just be here actively looking. That is all we ask.
One question, where was the arrest made? Like to know where some of the trouble is.

Good. Maybe they can head over to 11500 S. St Louis and concentrate on that asshole who is selling drugs. Just sold to a teenage to early 20's male white in a 90's model black oldsmobile bravada around 1:30. Or maybe to the african american's driving down 11500 block of homan south to the trailer park to pick up their regular delivery.
I'm not bt 2211 but I have the opportunity to come through the neighborhood in the afternoon several times a week if their are places that need to be looked at.
Good and maybe now some more of the 22nd district cars will pay attention to the neighborhood as well. I'd like to see someone clean up the criminal element driving through the neighborhood blasting the unbearable bass and smoking weed as they roll through.

These two posts clearly are examples of the pure ignorance of some (dare I say it) Americans today. No one in their right mind would or should think that these two posters have half a brain between them. I find it alarming that the blogmaster would even post the first one. Legalizing drugs will not be the answer. Napalming the cocaine fields and the poppy field in the drug producing countries ... now that would be something.
Obviously 10:33 am has never seen a particular classic Chicago movie.....

Where to start? Ok, I will be more direct than Lake Wazz...was. This is what you do. Go and rent the movie the Blues Brothers and pay close attention when the scene of Illinois nazis in Marquette Park comes up.
