Heartbroken

We are heartbroken. Words cannot express how much pain and anger we feel. We tried to express the anger after Officer Soderberg was killed, but we do not know if that article is strong enough.

God Bless you Officer Bailey. Again, it sounds as if you had a lot more to offer society than those that took your life. Hopefully our police department can bring those that did this to you to justice. We'll take that justice either by man or by God.

Raise the alert. To our officers, be very cautious on and off duty. Be ready to attack if confronted. Do not trust that just because you are off duty that nothing could happen, even in Mt. Greenwood. To our neighbors, be alert and aware of your surroundings. If you look and try to anticipate the threat, you might be able to do something about it.

What a sad day. What a sad month. What a sad year.
